Looking up 200+ tickers manually every week? I shared the same pain point. I built this Python + Excel-based Stock Checker to automate all the news scanning and insider trading checks so I can focus on actual decisions — not hunting headlines. It uses Finnhub and Yahoo Finance(because I track both US and Canadian tickers), and this public version pulls and displays information in a simplified format for easy use. The private version I use is deeper, with alert triggering, risk-based features, and custom workflows tailored to my portfolio strategy.
